About
us |
Appearing since 1982, "Nowa
Fantastyka" is both an ambitious literary monthly and a colourful
magazine of art, film, science and cyberculture. In our view, science-fiction
is a genre of modern literature that should deal with the past,
the present and the future; it should concern itself with science,
civilisation, politics, religion.
Andrzej Sapkowski, Rafal
A. Ziemkiewicz and Konrad T. Lewandowski are only few of the authors
who debuted in "Nowa Fantastyka".
We published stories by
Philip K. Dick, J. R. R. Tolkien, Anthony Burgess, Orson Scott
Card, Kir Bulyczow, Robert Silverberg, Mike Resnick and many, many
others.
Essays on popular science
for "NF" wrote - among others - Maciej Ilowiecki, Karol
Sabath, Marek Holynski and Zbigniew T. Dworak.
Among our illustrators
were famous foreigners (Giger, Moebius, Bilal) and known Polish
artists (Beksinski, Siudmak, Skarzynski, Yerka).
